At Numa, we believe in the importance of sourcing raw materials from the local community and adding value through our manufacturing processes. The Process

From farm to your table — the Numa way

Step 1

Grown with Care

Our partner farmers work in harmony with the land, intercropping, rotating seasons, and treading lightly on Uganda's soils, so the earth stays alive, fertile, and full of promise for generations to come.

Step 2

Harvested at Peak

Timing is everything. We test moisture and protein levels daily during harvest season, bringing in each variety at its absolute prime.

Step 3

Cleaned & Sorted

Every grain is carefully cleaned and sorted by hand and machine, removing impurities, selecting for size and quality, so only the finest millet and grains make it through.

Step 4

Milled

We mill slowly and gently, the way it has always been done, preserving the natural nutrients, and deep flavour that make Numa flour truly nourishing.

Step 5

Packed Fresh, Sealed with Care

Freshly milled and sealed at the source, our flour travels from Uganda's fields to your hands with its goodness fully intact, ready to nourish your family
