Taste freshness of grain products directly sourced from local communities
For 30 years, Numa has been producing high-quality, nutritious grain products that cater to our customers' preferences — while strengthening the communities that grow them.
We are a small-medium size Ugandan grain company focused on producing high-quality, nutritious grain products that cater to our customers' preferences. Driven by our unwavering passion and dedication to excellence, we consistently evaluate and enhance our procedures to align with industry best practices, continuously improving our products.
At Numa, we believe in the importance of sourcing raw materials from the local community and adding value through our manufacturing processes. This allows us to provide high-quality, nutritious grain products to our customers while supporting the growth of local agriculture and strengthening the livelihoods of farming families across Uganda.
Our partner farmers work in harmony with the land, intercropping, rotating seasons, and treading lightly on Uganda's soils, so the earth stays alive, fertile, and full of promise for generations to come.
Timing is everything. We test moisture and protein levels daily during harvest season, bringing in each variety at its absolute prime.
Every grain is carefully cleaned and sorted by hand and machine, removing impurities, selecting for size and quality, so only the finest millet and grains make it through.
We mill slowly and gently, the way it has always been done, preserving the natural nutrients, and deep flavour that make Numa flour truly nourishing.
Freshly milled and sealed at the source, our flour travels from Uganda's fields to your hands with its goodness fully intact, ready to nourish your family
From farmer training to nutrition outreach — these are the initiatives that define who we are beyond producing quality products for you.
